Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2017 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Asian 20th Century Art (Day Sale), which included the work The Seven-Star Crags by Chen Chong Swee. The price achieved of HKD 125,000.00 (€ 13,458.14) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 100,000.00 – 150,000.00. Other works by Chen Chong Swee have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2015 the work Nanyang Landscape was auctioned for HKD 212,500.00 (€ 25,953.89).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2017 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Asian 20th Century Art (Day Sale) durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Seven-Star Crags von Chen Chong Swee zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 125.000,00 (€ 13.458,14) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 100.000,00 – 150.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Chen Chong Swee konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im November 2015 die Arbeit Nanyang Landscape für HKD 212.500,00 (€ 25.953,89) versteigert.
