Auction result well in line with expectations
The work In Front Of The Temple (Changhua Nanyiao Temple) by Chen Chengbo was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2016. The price achieved of HKD 4,640,000.00 (€ 546,031.75) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 4,000,000.00 – 6,000,000.00. Admittedly, works by Chen Chengbo have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Sunset at Danshui in November 2007 with an auction result of HKD 50,727,500.00 (€ 4,434,511.85).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit In Front Of The Temple (Changhua Nanyiao Temple) von Chen Chengbo kam im Oktober 2016 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 4.640.000,00 (€ 546.031,75) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 4.000.000,00 – 6.000.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Chen Chengbo auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Sunset at Danshui im November 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 50.727.500,00 (€ 4.434.511,85).
