Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2014 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Modern and Contemporary Asian Art — Evening Sale, which included the work Chia-Yi Park by Chen Chengbo. The price achieved of HKD 22,520,000.00 (€ 2,318,499.60) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 20,000,000.00 – 30,000,000.00. Other works by Chen Chengbo have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2007 the work Sunset at Danshui was auctioned for HKD 50,727,500.00 (€ 4,434,511.85).

Im Oktober 2014 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Asian Art — Evening Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Chia-Yi Park von Chen Chengbo zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 22.520.000,00 (€ 2.318.499,60) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 20.000.000,00 – 30.000.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Chen Chengbo konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im November 2007 die Arbeit Sunset at Danshui für HKD 50.727.500,00 (€ 4.434.511,85) versteigert.
