Upper estimated price slightly exceeded

However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Chauncey Bradley Ives - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work 'Undine Receives Her (Mortal) Soul', which sold at auction in May 2004 for USD 276,300.00 (€ 226,160.27).
