Auction result well in line with expectations
The work All I Want Is The Courage To Hide Behind My Own Sense of Self by Charming Baker was sold in the 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale auction at Phillips in London in October 2019. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 11,250.00 (€ 13,049.19) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Charming Baker have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Nine works: i) All I Want Can Only Be Accomplished By Ignoring What You Need (black); ii) All I Want Is For Times To Change Until I Hit Some Good Ones (black); iii) All I Want Is For You Not To Speak Unless You Can Improve On The Silence (black); iv) in April 2019 with an auction result of GBP 50,000.00 (€ 58,164.45

Die Arbeit All I Want Is The Courage To Hide Behind My Own Sense of Self von Charming Baker wurde im Oktober 2019 in der Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale bei Phillips in London versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 11.250,00 (€ 13.049,19) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
