Auction result misses estimated price range
In November 2020 a collector was able to acquire the work Siblings on a rural road by Charles Wynne Nicholls for GBP 892.50 (€ 996.33). This price was achieved in the auction British and European Art at Bonhams in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Charles Wynne Nicholls achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work "What are the wild waves saying?" Florence and Paul Dombey from Dombey & Son, Charles Dickens in June 2003 with an auction result of GBP 8,962.50 (€ 12,879.60).
Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit "What are the wild waves saying?" Florence and Paul Dombey from Dombey & Son, Charles Dickens im Juni 2003 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 8.962,50 (€ 12.879,60).
