The result of USD 30,000.00 (€ 21,510.00) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Admittedly, works by Charles Towne have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A bay hunter and three pointers in a landscape with Lyston Hall beyond in June 2002 with an auction result of GBP 138,650.00 (€ 214,460.15).
