In the American Paintings, Drawings & Sculpture auction, the work On The Path sold for USD 40,000.00 (€ 35,835.87) - well above the upper estimate of USD 15,000.00. Admittedly, works by Charles Sprague Pearce have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Reading By The Shore in November 2015 with an auction result of USD 298,000.00 (€ 282,143.53).
