In the Alte Kunst auction, the work Holländisches Fischerdorf am Meer sold for EUR 2,838.00 - well above the estimate of EUR 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Charles Leickert achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work At the 'koek en zopie' in a panoramic winter landscape in October 2007 with an auction result of EUR 132,250.00.

Dieses Kunstwerk von Charles Leickert erzielte im Mai 2019 bei VAN HAM einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Alte Kunst wurde die Arbeit Holländisches Fischerdorf am Meer für EUR 2.838,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem Schätzpreis von EUR 1.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Charles Leickert erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit At the 'koek en zopie' in a panoramic winter landscape im Oktober 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 132.250,00.
