Auction result well in line with expectations
In July this year Bonhams in London held the auction British and European Art, which included the work Frozen river scene with figures skating and a windmill by Charles Leickert. The price achieved of GBP 1,664.00 (€ 1,941.38) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Charles Leickert achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work At the 'koek en zopie' in a panoramic winter landscape in October 2007 with an auction result of EUR 132,250.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli diesen Jahres führte Bonhams in London die Auktion British and European Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Frozen river scene with figures skating and a windmill von Charles Leickert zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.664,00 (€ 1.941,38) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.500,00 – 2.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Charles Leickert erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit At the 'koek en zopie' in a panoramic winter landscape im Oktober 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 132.250,00.
