Auction result well in line with expectations
In July 2012 Christies in London held the auction Andrew Wyld: Connoisseur Dealer, which included the work A group of fourteen écorché human figure studies including: Studies of the bones and tendons of a leg and foot, after Haydon; Two studies of an écorché head and neck after Haydon; A cast of an écorché foot, seen from the side; Studies of an arm by Charles Landseer. The price achieved of GBP 6,875.00 (€ 8,756.90) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 5,000.00 – 8,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Charles Landseer achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Return of the Dove to the Ark in February 2003 with an auction result of GBP 133,150.00 (€ 194,394.80).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli 2012 führte Christies in London die Auktion Andrew Wyld: Connoisseur Dealer durch, in der auch die Arbeit A group of fourteen écorché human figure studies including: Studies of the bones and tendons of a leg and foot, after Haydon; Two studies of an écorché head and neck after Haydon; A cast of an écorché foot, seen from the side; Studies of an arm von Charles Landseer zur Versteigerung kam.
