Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work The Conversation by Charles-Joseph-Frédéric Soulacroix was sold in the Old Master & 19th Century Paintings, Drawings & Watercolors Part II auction at Christies in New York in January 2011. Here, the upper estimate of USD 30,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 32,500.00 (€ 23,696.68). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Charles-Joseph-Frédéric Soulacroix achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Three for tea in April 2000 with an auction result of GBP 201,750.00 (€ 345,387.83).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit The Conversation von Charles-Joseph-Frédéric Soulacroix wurde im Januar 2011 in der Auktion Old Master & 19th Century Paintings, Drawings & Watercolors Part II bei Christies in New York versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 30.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 32.500,00 (€ 23.696,68) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Charles-Joseph-Frédéric Soulacroix erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Three for tea im April 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 201.750,00 (€ 345.387,83).
