Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of USD 68,750.00 (€ 59,023.01) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 60,000.00 – 80,000.00. Admittedly, works by Charles-Joseph-Frédéric Soulacroix have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Three for tea in April 2000 with an auction result of GBP 201,750.00 (€ 345,387.83).

Die Arbeit Afternoon Tea for Three von Charles-Joseph-Frédéric Soulacroix kam im Oktober 2017 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion.
