In April 2000 Christies in London held the auction 19C European Art, which included the work Three for tea by Charles-Joseph-Frédéric Soulacroix. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 201,750.00 (€ 345,387.83), 35% above the upper estimate. With this result, Three for tea is even the most expensive work of art by Charles-Joseph-Frédéric Soulacroix that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im April 2000 führte Christies in London die Auktion 19C European Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Three for tea von Charles-Joseph-Frédéric Soulacroix zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 201.750,00 (€ 345.387,83) und damit 35% über dem oberen Schätzpreis.
