Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Recital by Charles-Joseph-Frédéric Soulacroix was sold in the 19th Century European Art auction at Christies in London in November 2006. The price achieved of GBP 36,000.00 (€ 53,461.13) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Admittedly, works by Charles-Joseph-Frédéric Soulacroix have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Three for tea in April 2000 with an auction result of GBP 201,750.00 (€ 345,387.83).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit The Recital von Charles-Joseph-Frédéric Soulacroix wurde im November 2006 in der Auktion 19th Century European Art bei Christies in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 36.000,00 (€ 53.461,13) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Charles-Joseph-Frédéric Soulacroix auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Three for tea im April 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 201.750,00 (€ 345.387,83).
