The work Alga, 1987 by Charles Fine was auctioned at Bonhams in Los Angeles in September 2020. It achieved a price of USD 4,825.00 (€ 4,117.60), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 61%. Admittedly, works by Charles Fine have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Hueso, 1992 in April 2021 with an auction result of USD 20,312.50 (€ 16,884.87).

Die Arbeit Alga, 1987 von Charles Fine kam im September 2020 bei Bonhams in Los Angeles zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 4.825,00 (€ 4.117,60) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 61%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Charles Fine auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Hueso, 1992 im April 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 20.312,50 (€ 16.884,87).
