In April 2021 Bonhams in Los Angeles held the auction Made in CaliforniaContemporary Art, which included the work Hueso, 1992 by Charles Fine. The »bidding war« ended at USD 20,312.50 (€ 16,884.87), 35% above the upper estimate. With this result, Hueso, 1992 is even the most expensive work of art by Charles Fine that we have observed at auctions so far.
