In May 2012 Sothebys in London held the auction British & Irish Art, which included the work Concern, Girl With A Pug by Charles Burton Barber. The result of GBP 15,000.00 (€ 18,689.34) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Charles Burton Barber achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work In Disgrace in June 2007 with an auction result of GBP 322,400.00 (€ 478,425.38).

Im Mai 2012 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion British & Irish Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Concern, Girl With A Pug von Charles Burton Barber zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 15.000,00 (€ 18.689,34) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Charles Burton Barber erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit In Disgrace im Juni 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 322.400,00 (€ 478.425,38).
