The work Divine fruit; and Cherubs and doves by Charles Augustus Henry Lutyens was sold in the British, Continental & Russian Pictures & Prints auction at Christies in London in July 2007. It achieved a price of GBP 1,560.00 (€ 2,316.96), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 30%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Charles Augustus Henry Lutyens - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Putti disporting in the clouds, which sold at auction in November 2000 for GBP 3,525.00 (€ 5,761.47).

Die Arbeit Divine fruit; and Cherubs and doves von Charles Augustus Henry Lutyens wurde im Juli 2007 in der Auktion British, Continental & Russian Pictures & Prints bei Christies in London versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 1.560,00 (€ 2.316,96) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 30%. Für andere Arbeiten von Charles Augustus Henry Lutyens mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Putti disporting in the clouds beobachtet, die im November 2000 für GBP 3.525,00 (€ 5.761,47) versteigert wurde.
