The »bidding war« ended at USD 2,500.00 (€ 2,282.06), 25% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Chaim Gross achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Unicyclist in November 2019 with an auction result of USD 37,500.00 (€ 34,032.13).

Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 2.500,00 (€ 2.282,06) und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Chaim Gross erzielen.
