Auction result misses estimated price range
In September 2020 a collector was able to acquire the work Mother And Child by Chaim Gross for USD 1,512.00 (€ 1,290.32). This price was achieved in the auction American Art at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Chaim Gross achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Unicyclist in November 2019 with an auction result of USD 37,500.00 (€ 34,032.13).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im September 2020 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Mother And Child von Chaim Gross für USD 1.512,00 (€ 1.290,32) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion American Art bei Sothebys in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Chaim Gross erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Unicyclist im November 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 37.500,00 (€ 34.032,13).
