Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Madame by Chaim Gross was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in April 2020. The price achieved of USD 3,750.00 (€ 3,423.09) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Admittedly, works by Chaim Gross have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Unicyclist in November 2019 with an auction result of USD 37,500.00 (€ 34,032.13).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Madame von Chaim Gross kam im April 2020 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 3.750,00 (€ 3.423,09) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Chaim Gross auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Unicyclist im November 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 37.500,00 (€ 34.032,13).
