Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Lucretia by Chaim Gross was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in April 2020. It achieved a price of USD 1,750.00 (€ 1,597.44), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 17%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Chaim Gross achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Unicyclist in November 2019 with an auction result of USD 37,500.00 (€ 34,032.13).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Lucretia von Chaim Gross kam im April 2020 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 1.750,00 (€ 1.597,44) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 17%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Chaim Gross erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Unicyclist im November 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 37.500,00 (€ 34.032,13).
