Auction result misses estimated price range
In April 2020 a collector was able to acquire the work Bird'S Nest by Chaim Gross for USD 8,750.00 (€ 7,987.22). This price was achieved in the auction Joseph H. Hirshhorn: Collector for A Nation - An Online Sale at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Chaim Gross have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Unicyclist in November 2019 with an auction result of USD 37,500.00 (€ 34,032.13).

Hirshhorn: Collector for A Nation - An Online Sale bei Sothebys in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Chaim Gross auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Unicyclist im November 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 37.500,00 (€ 34.032,13).
