Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Baby Balancing by Chaim Gross was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in March 2021. Here, the upper estimate of USD 5,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 5,670.00 (€ 4,828.41). Admittedly, works by Chaim Gross have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Unicyclist in November 2019 with an auction result of USD 37,500.00 (€ 34,032.13).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Baby Balancing von Chaim Gross kam im März 2021 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 5.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 5.670,00 (€ 4.828,41) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Chaim Gross auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Unicyclist im November 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 37.500,00 (€ 34.032,13).
