The work Ayamarka II by César Paternosto was auctioned at Christies in New York in May 2006. It achieved a price of USD 19,200.00 (€ 14,961.43), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 60%. Admittedly, works by César Paternosto have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Riff in May 2019 with an auction result of USD 93,750.00 (€ 84,088.26).

Die Arbeit Ayamarka II von César Paternosto kam im Mai 2006 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 19.200,00 (€ 14.961,43) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 60%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von César Paternosto auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Riff im Mai 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 93.750,00 (€ 84.088,26).
