The work Workers by Cesar Legaspi was sold in the Sotheby's Hong Kong 40th Anniversary Evening Sale auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2013. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 1,480,000.00 (€ 140,444.31), 68% above the upper estimate. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Cesar Legaspi; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Ginintuang Mayo (Golden Spring) sold at auction in May 2016 with the realized price of HKD 2,200,000.00 (€ 254,279.30).

Die Arbeit Workers von Cesar Legaspi wurde im Oktober 2013 in der Auktion Sotheby's Hong Kong 40th Anniversary Evening Sale bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 1.480.000,00 (€ 140.444,31) und damit 68% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Cesar Legaspi; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Ginintuang Mayo (Golden Spring) im Mai 2016 mit dem Hammerpreis von HKD 2.200.000,00 (€ 254.279,30).
