Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The scene by Cesar Legaspi was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2007. The price achieved of HKD 192,000.00 (€ 18,282.32) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 160,000.00 – 240,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Cesar Legaspi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Ginintuang Mayo (Golden Spring) in May 2016 with an auction result of HKD 2,200,000.00 (€ 254,279.30).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit The scene von Cesar Legaspi kam im Mai 2007 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 192.000,00 (€ 18.282,32) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 160.000,00 – 240.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Cesar Legaspi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Ginintuang Mayo (Golden Spring) im Mai 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.200.000,00 (€ 254.279,30).
