Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Celso Lagar could be acquired at Christies in London in February 2018 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Impressionist and Modern Art Day Sale auction, the work Femme nue couchée tenant ses cheveux changed hands for GBP 10,625.00 (€ 12,002.40) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Celso Lagar achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Hommage à Guynemer in November 2012 with an auction result of EUR 145,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Celso Lagar konnte im Februar 2018 bei Christies in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Impressionist and Modern Art Day Sale wechselte die Arbeit Femme nue couchée tenant ses cheveux für GBP 10.625,00 (€ 12.002,40) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 12.000,00 – 18.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Celso Lagar erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Hommage à Guynemer im November 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 145.000,00.
