The work The Family Group by Celso Lagar was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in March 2021. It achieved a price of USD 25,200.00 (€ 21,459.59), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 40%. Admittedly, works by Celso Lagar have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Hommage à Guynemer in November 2012 with an auction result of EUR 145,000.00.

Die Arbeit The Family Group von Celso Lagar kam im März 2021 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 25.200,00 (€ 21.459,59) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 40%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Celso Lagar auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Hommage à Guynemer im November 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 145.000,00.
