Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Asses by Ceet Fouad was auctioned at POLY in December 2020. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 40,000.00 – 80,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 49,560.00 (€ 5,227.51) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Ceet Fouad have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Sky Blue with Chicanos in April 2021 with an auction result of HKD 228,000.00 (€ 24,410.97).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Asses von Ceet Fouad kam im Dezember 2020 bei POLY zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 40.000,00 – 80.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 49.560,00 (€ 5.227,51) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ceet Fouad auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Sky Blue with Chicanos im April 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 228.000,00 (€ 24.410,97).
