Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2019 China Guardian in Hong Kong held the auction Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art, which included the work Baby Chicanos(Executed In 2017) by Ceet Fouad. It changed hands for a price of HKD 59,000.00 (€ 6,743.61) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 35,000.00 – 65,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ceet Fouad - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Sky Blue with Chicanos, which sold at auction in April 2021 for HKD 228,000.00 (€ 24,410.97).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2019 führte China Guardian in Hong Kong die Auktion Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Baby Chicanos(Executed In 2017) von Ceet Fouad zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 59.000,00 (€ 6.743,61) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 35.000,00 – 65.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Ceet Fouad mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Sky Blue with Chicanos beobachtet, die im April 2021 für HKD 228.000,00 (€ 24.410,97) versteigert wurde.
