This artwork by Ceet Fouad achieved an unexpectedly high price at POLY in December 2020. In the Poly Auction Hong Kong & Macau Joint Auctions auction, the work Chicanos Diamond sold for HKD 165,200.00 (€ 17,425.02) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 80,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Ceet Fouad; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Sky Blue with Chicanos sold at auction in April 2021 with the realized price of HKD 228,000.00 (€ 24,410.97).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Ceet Fouad erzielte im Dezember 2020 bei POLY einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Poly Auction Hong Kong & Macau Joint Auctions wurde die Arbeit Chicanos Diamond für HKD 165.200,00 (€ 17.425,02) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 80.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Ceet Fouad; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Sky Blue with Chicanos im April 2021 mit dem Hammerpreis von HKD 228.000,00 (€ 24.410,97).
