This artwork by Cecil Charles Windsor Aldin achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Paris in October 2010. In the Le Haras d'Estimauville ; Oeuvres et Objets d'Art provenant des Collections Rothschild auction, the work A check sold for EUR 1,000.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 350.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Cecil Charles Windsor Aldin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work J. Ashton Radcliffe, M.F.H., Hunting with the South Dorset Hunt in November 2007 with an auction result of USD 37,000.00 (€ 25,190.63).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Cecil Charles Windsor Aldin erzielte im Oktober 2010 bei Christies in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Le Haras d'Estimauville ; Oeuvres et Objets d'Art provenant des Collections Rothschild wurde die Arbeit A check für EUR 1.000,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 350,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Cecil Charles Windsor Aldin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit J.
