Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work 'Forrard away' by Cecil Charles Windsor Aldin was sold in the Christie's Interiors auction at Christies in London in March 2009. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 2,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 2,250.00 (€ 2,426.29). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Cecil Charles Windsor Aldin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work J. Ashton Radcliffe, M.F.H., Hunting with the South Dorset Hunt in November 2007 with an auction result of USD 37,000.00 (€ 25,190.63).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit 'Forrard away' von Cecil Charles Windsor Aldin wurde im März 2009 in der Auktion Christie's Interiors bei Christies in London versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 2.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 2.250,00 (€ 2.426,29) einen neuen Besitzer.
