Auction result misses estimated price range
In March last year a collector was able to acquire the work Places and Things by Carroll Dunham for USD 2,772.00 (€ 2,498.87). This price was achieved in the auction Contemporary Edition at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Carroll Dunham achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Integrated Painting Seven in November 2017 with an auction result of USD 591,000.00 (€ 496,722.14).
