It achieved a price of USD 206,500.00 (€ 153,497.36), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 72%. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Carrie Mae Weems; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Kitchen Table Series sold at auction in November 2019 with the realized price of USD 237,500.00 (€ 215,536.80).
