Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Sin Título by Carlos Mérida was sold in the Impressionist & Modern Art Day Sale auction at Sothebys in New York in May 2021. Here, the upper estimate of USD 20,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 21,420.00 (€ 17,566.02). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Carlos Mérida achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work El Pequeño Venado in May 2019 with an auction result of USD 212,500.00 (€ 190,600.05).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Sin Título von Carlos Mérida wurde im Mai 2021 in der Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art Day Sale bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 20.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 21.420,00 (€ 17.566,02) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Carlos Mérida erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit El Pequeño Venado im Mai 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 212.500,00 (€ 190.600,05).
