Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In February last year Christies in New York held the auction Outsider Art, which included the work Untitled (Blue Horse/ Orange Figure), double sided, 1967 by Carlo Zinelli. The »bidding war« ended at USD 11,875.00 (€ 10,580.01), 19% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Carlo Zinelli have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Untitled, 1957 in January 2019 with an auction result of USD 50,000.00 (€ 43,652.87).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Februar letzten Jahres führte Christies in New York die Auktion Outsider Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Untitled (Blue Horse/ Orange Figure), double sided, 1967 von Carlo Zinelli zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 11.875,00 (€ 10.580,01) und damit 19% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Carlo Zinelli auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Untitled, 1957 im Januar 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 50.000,00 (€ 43.652,87).
