This artwork by Carlo Zinelli achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in New York in January 2019. In the Outsider and Vernacular Art auction, the work Untitled, double sided, January 1966 sold for USD 22,500.00 (€ 19,643.79) - well above the upper estimate of USD 12,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Carlo Zinelli - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Untitled, 1957, which sold at auction in January 2019 for USD 50,000.00 (€ 43,652.87).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Carlo Zinelli erzielte im Januar 2019 bei Christies in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Outsider and Vernacular Art wurde die Arbeit Untitled, double sided, January 1966 für USD 22.500,00 (€ 19.643,79) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 12.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Carlo Zinelli mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Untitled, 1957 beobachtet, die im Januar 2019 für USD 50.000,00 (€ 43.652,87) versteigert wurde.
