This price was achieved in the auction Creating a Stage: The Collection of Marsha and Robin Williams at Sothebys in New York and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of USD 7,000.00 many times over. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Carlo Zinelli; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Untitled, 1957 sold at auction in January 2019 with the realized price of USD 50,000.00 (€ 43,652.87).
