Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Carlo Zinelli achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in New York in February 2021. In the Modern, Contemporary & Latin American Art auction, the work Grande carro biancoe figura nera sold for USD 20,312.50 (€ 16,796.91) - well above the upper estimate of USD 7,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Carlo Zinelli - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Untitled, 1957, which sold at auction in January 2019 for USD 50,000.00 (€ 43,652.87).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Carlo Zinelli erzielte im Februar 2021 bei Bonhams in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern, Contemporary & Latin American Art wurde die Arbeit Grande carro biancoe figura nera für USD 20.312,50 (€ 16.796,91) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 7.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Carlo Zinelli mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Untitled, 1957 beobachtet, die im Januar 2019 für USD 50.000,00 (€ 43.652,87) versteigert wurde.
