Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Apollo by Carlo Maria Mariani was auctioned at Christies in Milan in May 2007. The price achieved of EUR 5,580.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Carlo Maria Mariani achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Orfeo in May 2008 with an auction result of EUR 66,250.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Apollo von Carlo Maria Mariani kam im Mai 2007 bei Christies in Mailand zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 5.580,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Carlo Maria Mariani erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Orfeo im Mai 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 66.250,00.
