Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Frammenti di un autoritratto anonimo No. 38 (Fragments of an Anonymous Self-portrait No. 38) by Carlo Alfano was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in November 2019. It achieved a price of EUR 17,500.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 17 %. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Carlo Alfano - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Frammenti di un autoritratto anonimo Nr. 26, which sold at auction in June 2016 for EUR 46,250.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Frammenti di un autoritratto anonimo No. 38 (Fragments of an Anonymous Self-portrait No. 38) von Carlo Alfano kam im November 2019 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 17.500,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 17 %. Für andere Arbeiten von Carlo Alfano mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Frammenti di un autoritratto anonimo Nr. 26 beobachtet, die im Juni 2016 für EUR 46.250,00 versteigert wurde.
