Upper estimated price slightly exceeded

It achieved a price of EUR 17,500.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 17 %. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Carlo Alfano - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Frammenti di un autoritratto anonimo Nr. 26, which sold at auction in June 2016 for EUR 46,250.00.
