Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In May 2021 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction The Curator’s Eye: The Collection of Professor Dr Karin von Maur, which included the work Stanza A Due Voci (Dell'Archivio Delle Nominazioni) by Carlo Alfano. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 1,750.00 17% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Carlo Alfano achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Frammenti di un autoritratto anonimo Nr. 26 in June 2016 with an auction result of EUR 46,250.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Mai 2021 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion The Curator’s Eye: The Collection of Professor Dr Karin von Maur durch, in der auch die Arbeit Stanza A Due Voci (Dell'Archivio Delle Nominazioni) von Carlo Alfano zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 1.750,00 und damit 17% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Carlo Alfano erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Frammenti di un autoritratto anonimo Nr. 26 im Juni 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 46.250,00.
