The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Watching The Race in December 2008 with an auction result of USD 122,500.00 (€ 88,009.20).

Die Arbeit Windswept Trees von Carl Oscar Borg kam im April letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in Los Angeles zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 3.825,00 (€ 3.630,07) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 28%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Carl Oscar Borg erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Watching The Race im Dezember 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 122.500,00 (€ 88.009,20).
