Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Carl Magnus could be acquired at Bukowski in Stockholm in May 2010 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Spring Modern Sale auction, the work "Bacilljävel" changed hands for SEK 3,800.00 (€ 394.16) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of SEK 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Carl Magnus - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work "Marmortomb", which sold at auction in October 2021 for SEK 12,000.00 (€ 1,208.10).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Carl Magnus konnte im Mai 2010 bei Bukowski in Stockholm für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Spring Modern Sale wechselte die Arbeit "Bacilljävel" für SEK 3.800,00 (€ 394,16) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Carl Magnus mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit "Marmortomb" beobachtet, die im Oktober 2021 für SEK 12.000,00 (€ 1.208,10) versteigert wurde.
