It achieved a price of USD 20,000.00 (€ 14,704.80), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 33%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Carl Kauba - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Indian Chief, which sold at auction in September 2008 for USD 46,875.00 (€ 33,289.54).

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 20.000,00 (€ 14.704,80) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 33%. Für andere Arbeiten von Carl Kauba mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Indian Chief beobachtet, die im September 2008 für USD 46.875,00 (€ 33.289,54) versteigert wurde.
