Auction result misses estimated price range
In November 2008 a collector was able to acquire the work 'St. Andrews And The Famous Golf Links', C. 1925 by Alfred Buckham for GBP 2,250.00 (€ 2,720.42). This price was achieved in the auction Photographs at Sothebys in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00 set by the auction house. Other works by Alfred Buckham have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in November 2008 by the work 'Westminster, Shewing The Houses Of Parliament And Westminster Abbey', C. 1925 at GBP 3,125.00 (€ 3,778.36).
