Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Rest On The Flight Into Egypt (Bartsch 1) by Camillo Procaccini was sold in the 500 Years of Printmaking auction at Christies in London in December 2013. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 1,125.00 (€ 1,353.20) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Camillo Procaccini achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Buste D'Homme Criant in March 2021 with an auction result of EUR 162,500.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Rest On The Flight Into Egypt (Bartsch 1) von Camillo Procaccini wurde im Dezember 2013 in der Auktion 500 Years of Printmaking bei Christies in London versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 1.125,00 (€ 1.353,20) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Camillo Procaccini erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Buste D'Homme Criant im März 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 162.500,00.
